TRAIN TO BECOME A GAS ENGINEER IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS

STEP 1 CENTRE LED TRAINING

You will attend our fully equipped training centre to start your training.

Experienced tutors will deliver the course and you will learn theory knowledge, practical skills and processes in workshops and classrooms.

Topics your will learn about are domestic installations and plumbing skills.

STEP 2 PORTFOLIO BUILDING

You will need to be placed with a Gas Safe registered engineer.

Either you find your own engineer or we can possibly place you with one at a cost of £1000, which will need to be paid directly to the engineer.

The engineer will supervise you. You will complete on site work jobs and build your work experience and evidence this as you build your portfolio.

STEP 3 ACS ASSESSMENT

Once completed your portfolio, you need to come back to the training centre to do your ACS exams.

ACS Initial Assessment will test you on gas safety and domestic appliances.

ACS qualifications are important for all gas engineers. You can only register with the Gas Safe Register if you have your ACS qualifications.
