TRAIN TO BECOME A GAS ENGINEER IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS
STEP 1 CENTRE LED TRAINING
You will attend our fully equipped training centre to start your training.
Experienced tutors will deliver the course and you will learn theory knowledge, practical skills and processes in workshops and classrooms.
Topics your will learn about are domestic installations and plumbing skills.
STEP 2 PORTFOLIO BUILDING
You will need to be placed with a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Either you find your own engineer or we can possibly place you with one at a cost of £1000, which will need to be paid directly to the engineer.
The engineer will supervise you. You will complete on site work jobs and build your work experience and evidence this as you build your portfolio.
STEP 3 ACS ASSESSMENT
Once completed your portfolio, you need to come back to the training centre to do your ACS exams.
ACS Initial Assessment will test you on gas safety and domestic appliances.
ACS qualifications are important for all gas engineers. You can only register with the Gas Safe Register if you have your ACS qualifications.

Gas MLP: 2 days a week for 20 weeks £3500
Gas MLP, Manage Learning Programme training is delivered in MY SKILLS 4U training Centre. A brand new fully equipped training centre with secure car parking, It will take 2 days each week for 20 weeks. The Gas MLP course will combine practical training and essential theory and assessments. These will take place throughout in the training centre and with an Gas Safe engineer. With the Gas Safe engineer you will be required to do various install jobs. You will be required to pass assessments and demonstrate understanding, skills and competence. All of this takes place through a series of Knowledge Units, i.e. exams that take place at the training centre and with a Gas Safe engineer.
Once you have completed the training you will be required to take the ACS examination and pass. Once you pass you will be able to register with Gas Safe as an Gas Safe Engineer.
You will be able to seek employment as a Gas Safe Engineer.
